Hineni – means “here am I”.  It was the prophet Isaiah’s response to The LORD”s call on his life.  “Also I heard the voice of the LORD, saying “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8

In the presence of the LORD, Isaiah recognized and confessed his sinfulness and surrendered his heart to serving GOD.  His encounter with The LORD led him to respond “Hineni,” “here am i,” to the call to service the Lord made available just for him!
